Mame Cabinet Underway

Ok, so the plan is over the next few weeks to document my Mame Arcade Cabinet as i build/wire/test it until finished.

I've based my first cabinet off the plans in the book "Project Arcade" by John St.Clair

Thanks to the madness of modern technology I am going to have to start documenting from now as previous photos have gone with the wind. Im currently at the stage where we (i say we meaning myself and the father in law) have now gotten the cab built. the external casings made and srewed together.

the Cabinet is made out of MDF (dustier than your aunties matress) coated in an acrylic, like the material used for kitchen cabnetry. Its a nice black textured surface. The edgs have had a har dplastic melted/molded into place, as I didnt like the idea of doing the t-molding myself :)
